Help with direction

Hi everybody,

I am software engineer and have been working on a product for the financial
area that I intend to develop into a series of products and services for
this domain.

The main problem I am having now is that I couldn't find the right people to
partner with. Although I have been in the Silicon Valley for 7 years, I
don't have the necessary network I could tap into to find the partners I am
looking for.

Any ideas how I could get in touch with people who may be interested in
joining me - web sites, networking organizations etc. I am looking primarily
for very technical individuals at this  moment.

Any suggestions or help would be highly appreciated.
