On the scale of being something you'd see on the Benny Hill Show, Monty
Python, or Saturday Night Live.

Think about it for a second.  People RUB in suntan lotion/block.  So what
are you saving them?  You stand there, spray a small area for them, wait as
they rub it in, and then spray another small area?  Or ... *laugh* ... YOU
rub it in for them?  :-O

What I suggest instead is that you have a dousing pool like what they use
for horses and cattle.  You have the beach-goers walk down into a narrow
pool of suntan lotion, up to their chins (good thing we're all the same
height), and walk out the other end.  Provide them a hand towel so they can
rub their faces with the goop as they wade through it.  Then at the other
end and after they walk up out of the pool, you provide them rubber
scrappers to scrap off excess suntan lotion and quickly rub what's left all
in.  Naturally, you'll need to have them do this in the nude or you'd
discolor and lotion-log their swimwear.  :-)  Oh, and I'm sure the Health
Department won't find anything wrong with this idea either.  ;-)
