That is a pretty wacky idea and hard to believe it would be fly. If anyone 
is trying to sell you such a franchise, hang on to your wallet tight! If 
you are thinking of starting a franchise like this, then you've come to the 
right place to have it hashed out.

Some issues come to mind: You'd need to loan the tanners goggles so the 
stuff doesn't get in their eyes while they get sprayed. And generally the 
higher the SPF rating the thicker the lotion - can't see it spraying very 
well for anything over ~SPF 15. And lotion generally needs to be rubbed in 
because otherwise the tanners would feel and look like goopy messes.
