I understand Avon to be a network marketing business. That means that it is a person to person business. That is, you go out and meet folks, and when you meet them, you ask for referrals. You call those people, and when you talk to them, ask them for their referrals. Advertising is normally frowned upon in network marketing. First, network marketing is supposed to be something that anyone can do without making a big investment, whereas adverting is very expensive. Second, advertising gives a big spending representative an advantage over normal everyday reps, which isn't really fair (especially if you tell new recruits that it doesn't take a large investment to get started). You might be well served to have your wife read her contract over, and check to see what company advertising guidelines are. -john- -- ==================================================================== John A.
