Hello Chris, The answer to your question is "depends." Business plans are written for many reasons including: to attract investors, to convince other people to sign on and yes, sometimes, to figure out how best to launch the business. Do visit the business section of your local super bookstore. Browse the books on business plans and pick two or three books with different writing styles for purchase. Business does have some concepts and vocabulary that are easier to understand when provided with different perspectives. Since it appears you are starting from square one, you might want to visit your local SCORE operation. Quality of service varies from office to office but should be able to give to some valuable insights on starting up. I strongly suggest you work out and get started on sales and marketing a.s.a.p. This will take longer to get results and you will probably find this to be the toughest nut to crack... A few suggestions... -- J.P.
