International EMS Opportunities

Hello all--

I'm taking a while off to do some long-overdue travelling, presently in 
Guatemala studying spanish.  Money being what it is, I'm running out and 
 looking for some opportunites to work in a spanish-speaking country.

I've heard that Cancun often hires American Paramedics, and wonder if 
anyone out there knows any details on this--who to contact, anyone 
that's done it, etc.  I've searched every angle I can think of on the 
web, and everything leads back to JEMS career supplement from a few 
years back, which only mentions someone doing it but doesn't give any 
information.

I'm not partial to Mexico, if anyone has any leads anywhere else, I'm 
open!  I'm obviously not concerned about the money, as I know it will 
not begin to compare with US wages, just need enough to live off while I 
study more and not have to spend savings.
