Nothing beats a scoop stretcher for that.  It's the only device that can
lift and immobilize a patient with virtually no movement at all.

With plenty of padding and a strap cinched firmly across the pelvis, it's
about as immobilized as it's going to get.  I've had patients sigh with
relief when I tightened the strap and even ask me to make it tighter.
