Extrication practice???

I have not verified the "story" behnd the pictures presented in the
link below.  I must however wonder if this is the actual truth since
(besides the obvious overkill) police cars with "8" as the identifier
are used here in *Stockholm*.

"The Police car shown in the picture was in a minor accident on
Agnesfridsvägen in Malmö.  One injured person had taken a seat in the
back of the police car while awaiting the arrival of an ambulance.
The person was originally in the other car and walked on his own to
the police car.  When the ambulance arrived the patient complained of
neck pain, then the crew ordered the police car roof removed.
According to reports the patinet was finally extracted by cutting off
the back door.  The vehicle was brand new and had not yet gone 1000km.
Damage is estimated at 350000:- by the police motorpool.  The justice
department is self insured so the money will be taken from some other
programs."
