Boxman: You had a vasovagal reaction. Very common, even after giving blood for labwork. Blood pools in the lower extremeties, your blood pressure bottoms out, no return of blood to the heart, hence no blood going to the brain, then you pass out and may or may not exhibit seizure symptoms. Treatment -> lie down flat, supplemental oxygen if available, continue to lie down until you are feeling better. No cause for alarm, but be aware that you may have this occur again.
