Even more so.
It is self defeating (and abusive) to try to win converts by any
coercive method, even the slightest. Your converts haven't converted
if they are not wholely and with complete knowledge in agreement with
the entire agenda of the religion in question.
Winning converts by telling only some of the story or misleading the
masses hasn't done you any good. If your god is as all seeing as is
claimed, he will know the difference. Either the misled people will
not be saved, or the leader will not.
