There are some talented young people who never have opportunities, because the authorities refuse to allocate resources to properly develop their talents - or worse, force them to endure an "education" inappropriate for them. Yet these same authorities throw educational resources at other people who never apply themselves, or want to apply themselves in the first place. Sure, it's a waste that they never go anywhere. It's a far worse waste that the resources could have been better spent elsewhere. > BTW, there ARE black geniuses.
