What does it matter what he believes.  Christians themselves cannot
come up with a consistent definition of Christianity among them.
Fundies think it requires belief in the literal truth of the Bible.
They consider Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons to be cults; they
consider Catholics to be goddess worshippers because of the cult of
Mary.  Then there was Thomas Jefferson, who considered himself a
Christian "in the only sense" that Christ would have intended - that
Christ was the greatest of moral teachers and that Paul was a heretic
and Calvinists are demon-worshippers.

And then there are intelligent Christians, whose religion comes from a
personal relationship with God, and not from a book written by men.
