No.  They call the writers of the Bible ignorant pre-modern
superstitious types who did not know better.  *Intelligent* Christians
have no problem reconciling their faith with a Bible that isn't a
documentary but rather a collection of myths and legends that have
some elements of truth, but were interpreted by people who knew less
than we now know.

An intelligent Christian does not need a literally-true Bible.
