Minority status

This is a very tricky question...

should I aply to med-school as a minority?  I'm exactly 1/2 Puerto Rican on 
my mother's side.  I want to do my best to get in because I know i'll be a 
great doctor but is this a moral thing to do?  I'm not disadvantaged 
economicly and physicaly I look like a white boy.   I have blue eyes and my 
name is irish!!!  But following the letter of the law I am indeed a 
minority.  Throughout my entire accademic history I have filled in the 
latin or Puerto Rican bubble.

Perhapes the addmissions board will think I'm dishonest or unscrupulus if I 
even attempt such a thing.
