Suggesting birth control to starving Africans against their human rights?

I saw "Beyond Borders"; a movie about humanitarian-aid workers in an
Ethiopian camp (and other parts of the world) tending 30,000 starving
residents so unbelievably skinny I thought some of the kids were
computer generated skeletons.

This movie inspired me and gave me new ideas to help these big
starving populations in a more intense and effective way so I thought
about birth control. Yes, if I was one of those humanitarian-aid
workers in South Africa or Ethiopia I would try to convince (not
force) my patients to get sterilized.

If it's a fact their children will starve, dehydrate and suffer why
not sterilize the parents permanently?

I'm aware that the fetus of an HIV postive woman can be saved BUT that
still costs money and who would take care of her children when she
passes away?

Even though Europe and North America continues donating food and
supplies to certain areas of Africa tons of people continue dying
everyday. There isn't enough money to feed them all!

My point is that hungry mothers with many deficiencies have no
business getting pregnant! She would be doing a harm to herself and
her country.

I'm not saying this is the only way (or the best) solution to end the
cycle of poverty and hunger but it would still attack the root of the
problem and help the African people progress for a change.

Many people tell me this would be an abuse but I disagree, it would be
like doing them a favor......

Birth control would save their lives! :)
