Re: Medical Billing

I am also taking a course in medical billing and coding,
it meets once a week, and it is geared to prepare you for certification.
what I have learned so far is to practice as many diagnostic codes as
possible, and learn the terminology., and most important, tab your icd9 book
in everyway possible, RE dividers, by letter, diseases, sections. this will
enable you to find things quicker and you will need this when taking the
certification exam. Also volunteering is required for certification, at a
hospital, or the county or where ever. REMEMBER, FIGHT FOR THE PENNIES.
