Hello to everyone, My name is Dan and I am a professor of Mathematics. I am from Romania and I came here in 1997 to Princeton University where I completed a Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2002. My wife and my daughter joined me in 1998 when my wife finished Medical school back in Romania. Due to the fact that our daughter was very small when she came here, my wife had to stay home and take care of our daughter. Now she is in elementary school and my wife would like to get back on track with her career in medicine. She studies right now for Step2 such that she can take it next spring. We followed closely the situation of IMG-s in U.S.A (visa issues, friendly hospitals, exams etc.), but never had the opprtunity to talk to someone directly on these things. So we would like to ask for an advice or any kind of input from the members of this newsgroup regarding the chances that she mght still have even after all these years(5+ years from graduation) to get into a residency hospital or if this is not the case what other paths(related to medicine)might she pursue. Thank you in advance for your time. Sincerely yours, Dan.
