Read the FAQ, but looking for other opinions. For good and proper reasons, I'm considering setting aside my 15 year, $150K p.a. career as a tax lawyer and apply to a post-bac program as the start of the journey towards becoming a doctor. But I'm very concerned that even if I perform above average academically, I'm 41 now, and the age factor alone will be an insurmountable obstacle to admission. I understand the realities and practicalities involved, and how the admissions committee would review my application, and I'm willing to accept the challenge of having to plead my case, and perhaps not getting in after all, but not if the reality is that my chances are slim to none. What do you think? Rick Bryan New York, NY
