No she is in 2nd grade here.  It's confusing I think to try to work
out the difference between our systems.  Sorry for my confusion.

Here Kindergarten is 5 year olds, 1st is 6 year olds and 2nd is 7 year
olds

So then you are saying her writing is that of an average 4th grader
here?  That would a 9 year old child in the US.  She has basically
only been in school for 5 semesters.   She is going into her 6th
semester of school now.
