Resource: Keiko the Whale

Welcome to Keiko's Corner, home of the world's most famous whale. As you
probably know, Keiko was the star of the hit movie Free Willly. When a Life
magazine story later revealed that Keiko was living in unhealthy conditions in
an amusement park in Mexico City, millions of people expressed their concern.
Thanks to this show of support, Keiko was nursed back to health in Oregon and
returned to his original home in Iceland. Now Keiko has embarked on a careful
training program to go back and live free in his native waters.
