I saw it. It was wonderful. The couple we watched it with had very 
different opinions, since they were focussed on the slavery aspect of 
the war, not the federal government marching troops against one of the 
states aspect of the war. (That and they prefer a movie that moves a 
little faster.) If you can understand that the civil war was about much 
more than slavery, then it is easy to appreciate the movie.
