Ahem, I watched it in person However, you have the wrong night FROM THE FLYER REGENT SENT OUT --------------------------------------------------------------------- The recent debate held at Regent U "CLASH OF THE TITANS" A Debate Between the Left and the Right that I attended On Sat. October 25, 2003 will be aired on TV Thanksgiving Evening November 27 at 8:00 PM EST on C-SPAN The Debate topic was "HAS THE SUPREME COURT OVERSTEPPED ITS CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY?" On Saturday, October 25, Regent University hosted a monumental debate as part of its 25th Anniversary Celebration. This debate saw some of the country's most outspoken conservative and liberal pundits square off on issues that evoke strong feelings from both the Left and the Right. Sparks flew as our highly talented group of panelists debated what role the Supreme Court should have in decisions regarding some of the most contentious issues facing our nation today, such as same-sex marriage, the wording of the Pledge of Allegiance, placement of the Ten Commandments in public venues and the Court's role in deciding electionssuch as Bush vs. Gore in 2000. Who won? Who lost? Tune in and decide for yourself as a replay of the debate will air on C-Span, Thanksgiving evening, November 27, at 8:00 p.m. EST. Don't miss seeing the event everyone will be talking about. The Debate was moderated by Catherine Crier of Court TV For the right was Ann Coulter, Jay Alan Sekulow and David Limbaugh For the left was Alan Dershowitz, Nadine Strossen and Barry W. Lynn --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [FROM ME] It is well worth watching For further information on the debate and for a some reviews of same SEE: Regent U church/state debate http://makeashorterlink.com/?G27B52596 AND http://makeashorterlink.com/?C28B23596
