LogiCampus 1.0 Released, Open Source Education Platform

The LogiCampus project is a web-based classroom management tool.
Developed in conjunction with Tarrant County College Center for
Distance Learning, the project was designed to be a cost-effective
means of testing new approaches to distance learning without being
constrained by traditional software packages.

The initial project was developed over a period of six months with
collaboration and feedback from Tarrant administrators, staff and
faculty infusing the development process. The result is a tool which
has been adopted by many and has already been demonstrated to be
helping reduce time on many of the tedious tasks teachers face, giving
them more time to devote to their students.

LogiCampus is built on the open source LogiCreate development
framework, and is itself an open source project. What this means an
organization is that the project is free for you to download, install
and use at your organization. It also means that since LogiCampus is
built on an open framework, it can be rolled out to other areas of
your organization.

For administrators
