In spite of??? Anyone who has spent any amount of time really working for a living, being paid hourly, knows that when the economy gets worse, the overtime employers require *increases*. Why? When companies lay people off , downsize, and institute hiring freezes, the work still has to be done, and usually there are fewer people left to do it. Been there, done that. You end up doing the work of several people, and are not paid any more for it. The extra money is nice, but the tradeoff is that yes, you do have less time on your hands. Jack
