Um, yas.  And hereabouts, where that new Legacy Village upscale shopping
center sprung up suddenly to vend MORE CRAP, there is a typical suburban
supermarket, one more of a chain of indistinguished pre-hash supply depots,
just like the last one.

But, of course, it has a STARBUCKS inside, right by the produce section.
That's it, don't actually BUY COFFEE and brew it, pay ten times as much per
cup to purchase it already brewed.

The most nauseating part of this, though, is that their shopping carts
actually have...


CUP HOLDERS!


I nearly scratched my eyes out at the sight of them.  Just like the ones in
the SUVs that bring in the customers.  Sigh.

What ARE we, anyhow?
