Twist-o-flex for Casio Wave Ceptor

I have a Wave Ceptor that I really like, but the band gives me a rash.
 I tried adding/removing links and I do not get the rash when the band
is loose, but then it catches on stuff and is inconvenient.  I've
looked for a Speidel band that will fit - no luck.  Anyone have
insight on how to connect a Speidel band to this watch? Any other
ideas?
