On the other hand, I've gotten every rebate from Fry's and every other
store except for 1 single rebate from Best Buy. The trick is to keep
copies of everything; track when mailed and when the rebate is expected;
and follow up. Over the years I've had maybe 2 go missing and in each
case they stopped payment on the "missing" check and issued a
replacement. Of course if they won't communicate with you that makes it
a lot tougher.
