Can? yes. Should? that's up to you. Several people here have
reported that their frequency of junk calls has declined since
putting themselves on the list. Mine was already near zero since New
York State's list went into effect, but I added myself to the
national list because I don't know of any down side.
Do be aware that if you add yourself to the list, it won't take
effect immediately. The donotcall.gov site should explain the
schedule, but IIRC it would be the end of January if you add
yourself now.
