Am I wrong? > > Thanks! ======================= I am not in the service industry BUT did run a business for many years before I retired... so my viewpoint on your question is from that standpoint... As you said the cost of materials may be cheap... BUT Labor is not... Somebody (you) are paying the the service mans wages from the time he leaves the shop until he leaves your job...You are also paying for the gasoline and the truck he is driving....And you can be sure you are also paying for all other expenses that the shop has... Honestly the cost to "put" an empoyee on the job site is pretty expensive..... I would say just regular fixed expenses of the company would be at least 100 an hour... Just my take on your question.... Bob Griffiths
