It's unfortunate that CR tested the Honeywell Environizer model when
Honeywell makes many good models that would compare well with the Whirlpool
HEPA filter that CR liked.  I wouldn't want anyone reading this ng to jump
to the wrong conclusion that Honeywell isn't that good.  CR chose the only
bad filter that Honeywell produces for their test.  That's kind of like
saying Chevy is better compared to the Ford Pinto.  (!)  -Dave
