GE also has real bad service. They will make appointment to do the
repair, but you more than likely will end up doing the fix yourself.
Even if you buy the machine from Sears - ( not sure if Sears sells
 GE ) GE will do the service work for the first year. At least with
Sears in your corner you have their  service dept. to fall back on.
The sales hype is rubbish. If you need to be sold ask a news group and
the truth will be yours.
