Re: Home being built in Florida



Till she goes to closing, she does not own the house. She is not responsible
for electric or water. There's no way a builder can make her responsible
prior to closing unless she volunteers. If you don't believe this, go and
hire an attorney and pay him his fee to tell you this. Let her call the
electric company and explain to them that she doesn't own the house yet and
does not want to be responsible for any bills the builder runs up.
