Nah. He just doesn't like the landlord and want to cause trouble.
Maybe he thinks the rent is too high or the guy should fix something.
Sometimes people just like to cause trouble, especially if they see
someone else trying to make money in a business. They just know they
are smarter than the other sap who is just "lucky" to "fall into it"
and make money. It could never be that he's renting because his beer
bill is keeping him from owning.
