Most or all HOAs for townhouse developments in the Lake Tahoe area have 
seen enormous premium increases during the past year.  (Probably the 
same for townhouses, condos, and other CIDs everywhere, or at least 
everywhere in Calif; the Tahoe area is what I know about.)

The increase for our 128 unit development was so far over budget we had 
to have an emergency dues increase.
