phone number question

Is it legal for the HOA to disperse all homeowners phone numbers whether
unlisted, unpublished or cellular, without the approval of the resident? Our
HOA dispersed everyone's number in a letter to the entire neighborhood.
Frankly, I'm pissed... because we paid the phone company to not list or
publish our number. What are the options?
