True. Regardless of it's purpose, every organization's bylaws should have
provisions for recall or impeachment and, equally true, boards are very
reluctant to act.

However, the OP is asking about of subset of those provisions that indicate
specific reasons for action. These usually make it easier for the board to
act. One example is unexcused absences.
