Re: Uninsured workers



Someone falls of your roof it may not be your falt but legal fees to prove
that could break you.  Homeowners can purchase a rider that protects them
against claims by workers not insured by their employers.

With all the insurance problems in North America a lot of incorporated
companies aren't able to pay the huge premium increase so they go uninsured
and if they get sued they just go bankrupt and move on.  If they follow all
the rules of an incorporated company their is no way you can touch them.

Read a while ago about a company that did that but the customers lawyer
found their company hadn't keep goog corporate records so the corporation
wasn't legal and the customer got a shot at the company owners personal
assets.
