My experience is that I hear a lot more complaints about HOAs than about zoning laws for petty bull$#!+. I once heard of an HOA fining a homeowner for kissing someone romantically outdoors. I have heard of HOAs specifying brands of paint to use. I have heard of HOAs where they look harder for violations where they can if you don't let them see the inside of your house. Never heard of such a problem with zoning laws. It appears to me that petty busibodies tend to run for HOA boards more than they do for municipal governments. - Don Klipstein ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
