MS is good at marketing their products regardless of who wrote them.


MS didn't invent MS-DOS either. They bought it from some engineering firm and revised it to function on the first IBM-PC.


Value isn't predicated on who created it originally. MS Products do seem to function well togeher and provide overall value to consumers.
