Re: Has anyone tried these new UPS stores for shipping?

I just finished packaging all of my Christmas packages and did the UPS
shipping labels online.. I charged the shipping to my Visa and printed out
the prepaid labels myself..

I was out of the shipping label envelopes, but I loaded all the boxes into
my truck and went to the (old Mailboxes. Etc.) UPS store in town.. I was
expecting some problem since I wouldn't be paying anything through them, but
it never happened.. They provided me with a big hand full of the label
envelopes  and I affixed my pre-paid labels to the boxes. Set them on the
counter and they were very greatful that I had everything done since they
were very busy..

The point being, I paid the standard UPS shipping rate without any markup
for a drop off at the UPS store. I don't know how the store operator gets
her cut of the shipping charges.. Maybe this UPS store is owned by UPS..
