If anybody cares, I use kmail for myrealbox mail, most of which is spam. kmail is nice enough to offer filter-before-download capability, always a good thing to have. Since it's my public address, I use it when I'm pretty sure that I'll get spam along with whatever it is I want. That's life. I have a frogshit address that I used to use and which gets huge amounts of spam even though I haven't actually used that address to post with for a couple of years. > >Whatever, it's annoying. Dump that older interface - no matter how > much you like it, it's what makes it annoying. No it's not. I think Mozilla 1.x works the same way. I'm not willing to do a new install just to check :-( Sensible people check ALL the configuration possibilities before they connect. I like the 4.x interface because I can select ALL the fonts and window sizes and most of the colors to be the way I want. Moz just doesn't behave right sometimes, especially with regard to a lot of newsgroups in a lot of different newsfeeds. I've checked, honest. I know what I like. I like Moz for browsing and NS for mail/news. Did you ever use Mosaic? I did. -- Cheers, Bev ************************************************* Never argue with a woman holding a torque wrench.
