They fixed the head gasket in the new ones (at least 2000 and up) and will
cover replacement in some of the old ones.

In 2002 the A/T was replaced with a 4 speed, although the 3 speed is a solid
design.

You obviously show you have little knowledge of the car. Please do research
before bashing a car.
