This is both funny and sad.  I remember when natural gas was touted as the most
inexpensive way to heat.  Then the environmental regulations and NIMBY
attitudes drove the big power producers away from coal and oil to natural gas,
increasing both the demand and prices.  Chances are good that your electric
space heaters are at least partly natural gas powered.
