Re: Suggesting Hotwire for risk-taking frugalists

 I have used Hotwire and Piceline several times.  On some of my recent
flight bookings, I check Hotwire first (without actually buying the ticket)
to get a feel for the airfare.  Then go Priceline and start bidding on
similar flights $50-60 below the airfare quoted by Hotwire.  This way I end
up with a ticket price that better than Hotwire's and improve my odds of
buying a ticket at Priceline.  Both Priceline and Hotwire have similar
restrictions - no cancellations, dont know the exact flight times etc in
advance of booking.
