You could move the average McDonalds worker into a fab plant and get good results. Design DOES require education, but production? Not a chance. These aren't manufacturing research test lines, they're production lines. All you need are semi trainable bodies, a source of power and environmental laws that aren't enforced. A few engineers can run the whole thing - and you can get those engineers from India or China for a pitance.
