Electricity, in the form of several space heaters, is how we are heating half our house. The bill went up, yes, but not as bad as the natural gas. I have them in the coldest rooms & I turn them off as much as I can. Make sure nothing flammable is anywhere nearby them. I have one in the family room--fairly large convection heater, that heats most of the family room/lab/big hall set of rooms. I also open the door to the basement--connected--to let warm air flow in there from the furnace as well. There is also one in the office--heavily used room on the northwest side of the house & 1 big bathroom. It's currently cheaper than gas. Sewmaster
