Yep! Seems like you have the ideal set up with the geothermal set up..

I would like to dig a well for heat/cooling water for mine but the cost to
dig is to much here.

If I had my own well I would look into that source of water, but I'm on a
community well and they would never stand for wasting water.

I have also condsidered laying tubing in the ground for a heat exchanger
(which is what I assume you have), but the ground is just to rocky and not
suiteable for this..

I can afford the pellet stove heating and I'm ok with the AC for cooling in
the summer. With the good insulation in my house it only takes about 2 hours
of AC on the hottest day..
