I use Schmetz, otherwise. The Schmetz needle shank won't fit into the Singer hole, drat it. Just so you know. Also, the Singer serger has a freearm. That is not always the case with sergers. Freearms are great tools. Sewmaster, let us know whatever you wind up getting. :-)
