Panasonic used to make good products, but not anymore. The latest
Panasonic phone system that I bought - a multi-handset 2.4GHz one- is
a total piece of crap. Two out of three handsets "loose the charge"
very often. What happens is that the battery contacts disconnect and
the phone thinks the battery is empty, even if it just has been
charged. Only recharging it for 14 hours gets it back.

I called Panasonic and they sent me these little foam pads to insert
around the battery to prevent it from loosing contact. Obviously a
temporary solution these pads flattened in a month. My next step is to
send both handsets back to the factory. Fortunately I have a 2-year
warranty through the merchant.
