Re: What is a good business format?

You will always have to provide an SSN to obtain financing unless the
business can stand on its own. And from the sound of it, it can't.
One way to prove to banks that you are "lendable" is to provide proof
that the business can provide the cash flow to service the debt.
Unfortunately you will have to provide a history of positive cash flow
and some decent collateral in order for them to overlook your bad
credit. If you have a home with some equity in it, try getting a
$10,000 loan and secure it with your home at first (using a 2nd of
course). If you develop a nice repayment history and a rapport with
your banker, chances are you will be able to get more loans in the
future. Even with bad credit a loan secured by a CD is guaranteed, but
I am assuming you don't have any CD's. Maybe someone in the family
with a sizeable CD can let you take their as collateral?
